Today Is My Birthday!
I woke up in my Calgary hotel room today with my Blackberry "a buzzin" with messages and emails (and I thought I had set off my vibrator...LMAO!) from new and long-time "Sweet"hearts, friends and family wishing me a Happy Birthday!...I even had someone SING me the full version of "Happy Birthday" when I received the local Calgary call!
I had some errands to run in Calgary before skipping off to the airport to catch my flight to Arizona....UNTIL
we are all boarded and waiting and waiting and waiting...FINALLY
the Captain announces the mechanical problem...and CANCELS the flight!!!
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggg!!!!!!
You ever seen the series "Airport"??? Now I know how it feels! Cancelled flights, famished, missed connections, alternative routes already booked, arranging for shuttle to complimentary hotel stay and another wait and another groggy rush to the airport sooo early in the morning!!
So here I sit, on the computer, alone in my Calgary hotel room writing another Blog ON MY BIRTHDAY!!! LMAO...
So I officially claim that my birthday is on hold until tomorrow...
